Lets Chat About Skittlettes

Hey there Storm Chasers!

I know it's late, but I'm up so I figured, why not post this now instead of waiting until tomorrow night. I'm a little tired for much chatter so I'm going to get right to the meat of this post.

Today's manicure is the one I did for Chit Chat Nails and the contest Marta is having. The theme is the Skittlette! If any of you know Marta then you know how much she loves a good Skittlette manicure, so the topic is perfect for her contest. I already send along my entry so I figured, why not share it with you all. :)

Most of the polish I used in this manicure is from Cult Nails (I know, I know, you're shocked.)

The star of this show is clearly the gorgeous glitter on my thumb, first and middle fingers, which is none other than Cult Nails Toxic Seaweed. Maria was kind enough to send this one along when I made my purchase for my Instagram contest prizes. (My wallet was seriously crying after that purchase) Toxic Seaweed is unfortunately retired and HTF, so it is even more amazing that Maria sent this along for me! Thanks so much Maria, I LOVE it!

On my ring finger is Cult Nails Nevermore as the base color, a wonderful one coat black that is soooooo creamy and smooth. I did 2 coats only because I'm rough on my nails and one coat of anything chips like crazy. On top of Nevermore I did a freehand design using Cult Nails Doppelgänger with a detail brush and a tiny dotting tool.

Finally, on my pinky is Cult Nails Feelin' Froggy topped with a holo topcoat that was send to me by @7racilyn on Instagram in a swap we did. I'll be posting more photos of this amazing topcoat later. I promise. I added a silver stud for a little more flair.

I'm really enjoying wearing this manicure and I hope you all enjoyed seeing it. Goodnight all!

  1. This is beautiful. Your freehand art is flawless; I am so envious, perhaps it is all the gorgeous green on your nails.
