Chick Pick Polish | Marma-laid In The Shade

I'm so excited to show you another polish from the Chick Pick Polish Spring Fling collection today. This is another matte finish lacquer and it is just as pretty as the first. I have both a swatch and some nail art for you all again.

First up is the swatch. Here is Marma-laid In The Shade.

Marma-laid In The Shade is a sherbet orange lacquer loaded with shimmer that dries to a smooth velvety matte finish.

I used two easy coats of this lacquer for these photos and found no formula problems. It does dry quickly and like most matte polishes, I suggest a lighter hand and not to go over the same spot too many times, but to be honest, I didn't run into any problems painting my usual way.

When topcoat is added this lacquer comes even more alive with shimmery goodness!

I can see this polish working well in so many settings, but the sherbet reference really stood out for me, so I decided to do some nail art using that as inspiration.

I started by using a small detail brush to paint on some drips on my ring finger with Cult Nails Morning Glory, a deep berry creme.

Then I added some popsicles to my thumb, index and middle fingers by stamping from MoYou London's Princes Plate 13 XL. I used a combination of Cult Nails Morning Glory and Cult Nails Ay Poppy for the stamping.

Finally, I created a Ruffian manicure on my pinkie using Zoya Pixie Dust in Arabella.

I thought these came out really cute and perfect for a summer beach party or a cookout at the pool. What are some of your ideas for summer manicures?

You can find this, the rest of the Spring Fling Collection and more Chick Pick Polishes in their shop over here. Make sure to follow them on social media for news about new collections, sales and to see more swatches!

Have a wonderful day!

***Chick Pick Polish Marma-laid In The Shade was provided for my honest review. Zoya Arabella was a gift from a friend. All other colors, base and top coats and tools were purchased by me. Please see my disclosure page for more information.***
