Nail Art | iPhone Case Twin Nails

Yay! More nail art!

On Friday, my good friend Donna and I were talking about phone cases and sending photos back and forth of ones we wanted. Donna came across this beautiful aqua blue and purple case with gold detailing on it. We both knew that we wanted to do some nail art inspired by it, so we did some twin nails!

Donna is the stamping queen so she had a plate that matched, but I ended up doing a freehand design. What do you think?

I love how this turned out once it was completed!

I started with a base of three coats of Ethereal Lacquer Mint Madness. After that was mostly dry I ripped up a makeup sponge into tiny bits and added in some random sponging with a pair of tweezers using Cult Nails Manipulative, Pipe Dream Polish All In, piCture pOlish Swagger and China Glaze That's Shore Bright.

Once all of that was dry I used a gold Stripe Rite striping polish to make the designs on the nails.

I decided I wasn't crazy about the shiny version, so I added one coat of OPI Matte Top Coat.

I was much happier after the matte effect was added and really think this matches the phone case well!

I ended up leaving these on and wearing them to Greek Easter dinner with my family. I thought the colors were perfect for spring and the manicure was definitely fancy enough for a holiday dinner.

Have you ever been inspired by a phone case? I may have to go buy this one!

Make sure you go check out Donna's nails later today over on Instagram @workinggirlnails and give her a follow if you like what you see! Donna also sells the BEST hand balms and cuticle oils that you can buy. I only use her products on my hands and nails.

Have a lovely day!

***piCture pOlish swagger was provided for my honest review. All other nail polish and items used were purchased by me. Please see my disclosure page for more information.***
