Nail Art | Purple on Purple

Hello!

Today I have some more nail art for you. This is a pretty special post since this is the first time in a very very very long time that I have done nail art for no reason other than for myself. Usually I'm reviewing a product or working on something for the Guild or another type of challenge, so it was nice to sit down and do something simply for the pleasure of it. Nothing too complicated about this nail art, but maybe that's what I like about it!

I knew I wanted to wear Pahlish Bespoke Psychopath, so I started with that as a base for this mani. Bespoke Psychopath is one of my favorites from the Pahlish Doctor Who collection. It is a deep purple holo with tons of glass fleck like shimmer.

I used my favorite straight vinyls from Nail Vinyls to tape off the shapes on my thumb, index and middle fingers and painted over them with Color Club Cloud Nine to make the points.

For my ring and pinkie fingers I just added a coat of Wicked Polish Mangled Mermaid. I love all the detail in this polish and of course, stars!

I topped everything off with a thick coat of Seche Vite to smooth it out and make it super shiny.

I loved how this mani looked and wore it for at least 3 days before taking it off. I did have some staining trouble with my ring and pinkie nails. It looks like Bespoke Psychopath stained in some spots where there was glitter only. I had no trouble on any of the other fingers, so I'm not really sure what happened there. I'll probably avoid wearing these two together again though.

I hope you enjoyed my just for me nail art! I'll be back later this week with another post and then I have some new Doctor Lacquer babies to show you soon!

xoxo

Lex
