Doctor Lacquer - ChromoZONES

I'm slowly getting back to blogging and I have one that has been waiting for a while for you all today. One of my favorite indie brands is Doctor Lacquer, and this ChromoZONES collection is no exception. It definitely does not disappoint. This 7 piece multi-chrome collection has something for everyone, though if you're most of us nail enthusiasts, you're going to want them all.

I'm not going to talk about formula on all of these individually because they were all pretty much the same. The formula is on the thin side, but easy to work with. These lacquers, like most multi-chromes, are sheer, but layer well. I found that doing either 2 coats over black or 3 coats alone came out looking best, but your mileage may vary depending on how thick your coats are and how you like your finished manicure to look. There is some slight brush stroking, so using a light hand is definitely recommended.

Now that the technical stuff is out of the way, lets have a loot at these beauties shall we?

First up is the one that caught my eye right off the bat in the bottles. Here is The Bosom of the Sea.

Look at that beautiful shifty goodness!! I absolutely love love love this shade. I wouldn't change a thing about it.

Born Pretty Store - Stamping Kit Review

Woohoo! I'm so happy to finally get a blog post up and I'm super excited about the nail art I have for you today.

I'm slowly working my way through some review items I have from Born Pretty Store and today I have a review of one of their stamping kits. The kit includes two stampers, two plastic scrapers, one scraper with a metal blade and a book to keep your stamping plates in. You can see everything included in the photo below.
