Hi there all!

I have a special post for you all today. A few days ago my lovely friend Maria from Cult Nails posted a share the love blog post which featured a few of her favorite bloggers with a little shout out and some photos for each. She was kind enough to mention my blog and shop and I wanted to pay it forward so I would love to share some of my favorite bloggers with you!

~~~~~~~~~~
First up is someone I have been following for a long time, since way back when I started reading beauty and nail blogs. Meet Judy from Beauty Judy!
Cult Nails - Passionate Dreams
I am SO EXCITED to show you this collection!
When I saw the original photos of these lacquers I was absolutely sure I was going to purchase them, so when I found out that John and Maria from Cult Nails were sending them to me for review I was beyond thrilled. Passionate Dreams is the first of the smaller monthly collections that Cult Nails plans on releasing this year and I would say they are off to a bang!
In addition to the lacquers, each collection this year will have a story to go with it. It started with the Masquerade collection and this Passionate Dreams collection has it's very own story! If you want to read it, you can head over here.
I really just want to jump right in, so here we go! First up for this collection is Lethal.
Lethal is a gorgeous silver foil lacquer with very minimal brush strokes.
Alice In Wonderland - The Cheshire Cat
I am so excited to share this nail art with you today. When I was wearing Come What May but Cinema Swatch Lacquers, I kept thinking how perfect the color would be for the Cheshire Cat from Alice in Wonderland, and since I've been meaning to do a manicure inspired by the one Coewless did a while back, I figured now was as good a time as any!
I got to work creating a design and here is what I came up with!
The light shimmery purple is Cinema Swatch Lacquers Come What May and the darker pink stripes and on the face is Cult Nails Morning Glory. I did an accent nail of Orly Miss Conduct on my pinkie for some sparkle. :)
Cinema Swatch Lacquers - Satine Duo
Surprise!
As a bonus extra to go along with the Moulin Rouge collection, Rachel from Cinema Swatch Lacquers also sent me her Satine Duo. This mini duo is available in limited quantities in mini bottles only, and let me show you how worth it, they are!
This duo is inspired by the two options Satine talks about for her first meeting with the Duke and they represent the two sides so perfectly. I absolutely love this duo and I hope you will too! Lets get started.
First of the two is Frightened Bunny.
Frightened Bunny is a white lacquer with a splattering of pretty goldish flakies throughout.
Cinema Swatch Lacquers - Moulin Rouge
Provided for Review
I am super excited about the swatches I have for you tonight! This is a new to me brand, but is quickly becoming a favorite of mine. Meet, Cinema Swatch Lacquers! When I was approached by Rachel to review this collection I was so excited, because Moulin Rouge is one of my top three favorite movies of all time. I couldn't wait to see what she came up with and I was not disappointed!
Here I have four of the six lacquers from the full Moulin Rouge collection. First up is one of my favorites and definitely the brightest of the collection, The Green Fairy.
The Green Fairy is a shimmery green polish with a slightly gold undertone and shimmer.
Doctor Lacquer - Idioms Come But Once A Year
Hi there lacquer fans!
I'm back with a review of some gorgeous jelly based glitter lacquers for you today from a favorite of mine, Doctor Lacquer! Angelyn sent these to me as a surprise before Christmas, but I was so swamped with orders from my Etsy shop that I never got a chance to put up a review. I talked to Angelyn a little after Christmas and she told me they are re-releasing some of the more popular shades from this collection around Mid-January, so be on the lookout for that restock!
I have six shades for you today, three jelly based glitters and three thermal lacquers. First up is the polish I was most looking forward to from this collection, here is Ugly Sweater Tears.
Ugly Sweater Tears is a gray to black thermal jelly polish with many shapes and sizes of glitter including snowmen, spades, bells, mickeys and snowflakes!
Happy New Year! and a Born Pretty Store Review
Whew!
End of the year here at Chez Storm got crazy and I want to say I am so sorry for disappearing on you all for so long. But never fear! I have a fantastic review for you today and some nail art, that dare I say I am completely in love with!
I have reviewed for Born Pretty Store before, and they remain one of my favorite places to get supplies for nail art. The shipping is always free and the products are great. There is a huge selection to choose from, and even though it may take a bit longer to get to you, I think it is completely worth it!
When I got these square nail studs in the mail from Born Pretty Store I knew just what I wanted to do with them. Being an 80's and 90's child I have an unhealthy obsession with the game Tetris and so when I saw these colorful little squares all I could think of was the little game tiles on my game boy screen! Are you ready? Here they are!
TETRIS NAILS!!! I love these so much that I am still wearing them three days later as I type this and get this… I haven't lost any of the studs! I could take new photos today and they would look just as great as the first day.
