Sweet Baby By Donna - Round 2!

I'm back today with a review of some of my all time favorite products. This review is not a nail polish review, but a review of some hand and skin care products that I can't live without.

As you may remember, Donna from Sweet Baby By Donna sent me some cuticle oil and balm to review a while back and I absolutely loved the unscented oil. Recently she added my favorite scent, Pink Sugar, to her line and sent me some new products with that scent to review for her. I can't tell you how excited I was to get some more stuff from her! Included in the package were a cuticle oil, a cuticle balm (with her new formula from the one I received formerly) and a tube of bath salts.

Donna's packaging is simple and beautiful and all black and red which I absolutely love. I decided to show off these products with a little nail art in her signature colors.

Different Dimension Happy Holly Days

Hi All!

This post is a day late since I've been feeling under the weather, but I finally have it all ready to go for you.

Different Dimension is one of the leading indie brands in my opinion, so of course I accepted when brand owner Missi asked for my help in reviewing and swatching her holiday 2013 collection, Happy Holly Days. This collection has a mix of finishes and styles ranging from glitter topers to shimmery holographics across 11 unique lacquers. Lets get right to the photos shall we?

First up is Mistle-Toad.

From Different Dimension: "Mistle-Toad is a pine green linear holographic polish with heavy pink shimmer that also gives a semi duo chrome effect"

Jolie Polish - Mermaids

Hi there all!

I know, I haven't been around in a while. I broke my foot and am finally back at work and everything has been crazy since I found out I was going back, so I was slacking on my nail stuff. I do have a few posts for you the rest of this week and I'll hopefully be back to normal soon!

Today I have some Indies to show you! Bory from Jolie Polish contacted me to review her polish and since her colors are so pretty and she is sweet as pie, I absolutely said yes! I have four lacquers from her Mermaid Collection and one extra to show you today.

First up is the odd one out of the bunch that is not part of the Mermaid Collection. This is Choji.

Super cute right?!

Bliss Polish SoA Collection

I know I don't normally post on weekends, but I've make an exception for this collection since the owner Yvette restocked the shop this morning and I want you all to have a chance at getting your hands on some!

Bliss Polish is a relatively new to me brand, but from what I have seen Yvette's lacquer is top class! I have three colors to show you today from her Sons Of Anarchy Collection. There is a little something for everyone with a glitter, a thermal and a matte lacquer. Shall we get to them?

First up is the stunner of the bunch for me. Meet Jax.

Jax is a dark gray lacquer with a silver shimmer and a STUNNING matte finish.

Doctor Lacquer Hormonal Efficiency Collection

Today I have the third and final installment of the Doctor Lacquers that I received for review. This one is called the Hormonal Efficiency Collection and consists of six thermal lacquers. Three of these lacquers are heat reactive while the other three are cold reactive. I'm going to show you all of them in transition and also in their hot and cold states.

All of these lacquers have about the same formula. They are jelly-ish and I used three thin coats with Glossy Glam topcoat for all of the swatches. I did some very slight fishing for some of the larger glitters, but nothing that isn't expected. I do highly recommend turning these upside down for a few minutes before using so the glitters are closer to the top of the bottle. Are you ready for these?

First up for this collection is Adrenaline.

Adrenaline is a super bright yellow to orange thermal polish with lots of glitters. It starts out yellow in the bottle and turns a bright orange when it gets cold. I had a bit of a hard time getting this one to turn and stay cold, but you can see the transition below.

Doctor Lacquer Elements of Style

I have another collection for you tonight from Doctor Lacquer. This one is super special to me since I named the lacquers! Angelyn contacted me to help her come up with some names that referred to the elements these beauties were based on and I was happy to help. Each lacquer is inspired by the color that it's element burns.  Meet the Elements Of Style Collection!

First up is (Ba)ck In Style inspired by burning Barium.

(Ba)ck In Style is a yellow-green jelly with pretty pastel glitters floating in it. It's super sheer, but I like it this way!

Doctor Lacquer Hallowtide Tricks

I have some perfect for Halloween lacquers for you tonight from a new to me brand. This collection is a set of three thermal polishes from brand Doctor Lacquer. When Angelyn contacted me about reviewing these lacquers I was super excited. Her brand has some of the more unique polishes out there right now and I am happy to be able to swatch them for you! This is the Doctor Lacquer Hallowtide Tricks collection.

First up for this collection is Don't Drink The Pink-Aid!

Don't Drink The Pink-Aid! is a thermal polish that changes from a dirty pink color to a darker pinkish-brown. It is packed with glitter including two different styles of pink skull and crossbones!

Victoria from Serum N°5 sent me six lacquers for review, including one LE polish only available in October and three glow in the dark shades.

First up is one of the glow polishes. This one is Sunset Flare.

Sunset Flare is a duochrome polish that also glows in the dark. It color shifts from a burnt orange color to a pink shimmery tone.

Honey Buttons Custom Nail Polish

Hi all!

It is going to be another two post night for me here. First up is a post I am super excited about.

I was contacted by Jessica from Honey Buttons Nail Polish a while back and asked if I would review two of her custom made lacquers. I assumed that she would send me two she had made before to review, but I was so pleasantly surprised when I found out that I would actually be able to customize my own polish!

I knew I wanted at least one of these polishes to reference my Doctor Who obsession, and specifically Ten and Rose. I had just ordered some fantastic Bad Wolf fabric, so I asked Jessica if she could make me a glitter topper in the colors of the graffiti on the bad wolf fabric. Here are the results!

Look at all those bright colors! I used two coats here for maximum glitter coverage over OPI Rolling Bones. I topped the whole thing with Glossy Glam topcoat.

Incoco Halloween Nail Strips

I know I know! Two posts back to back!

Last week was a busy week for me, so now I am trying to catch up! Here I have some more Incoco Nail Polish Strips for you!

These polish appliques are Halloween themed! I absolutely love Halloween. It is my favorite holiday and I love anything and everything to do with it. I have two sets of strips for you today. Both of these are from last year's Halloween collection, but Incoco has some great new strips this year as well!

The first set I have for you tonight is Mischief Night.

I think these are SO CUTE! I love the quick nail art and that I don't need any dry time with these.

Messy Jessi Walkers and Biters Collection

Hi All!

This post is a little late, since I already posted these on my Instagram a while ago, but here goes!

One of my favorite polish makers, Jessica from Messy Jessi contacted me about swatching her collection inspired by the television show The Walking Dead, so of course I said yes!!

This collection consists of 4 beautiful shades perfect for the fall and for Halloween.

First up is the one that immediately caught my eye. This one is The Governor's Eye.

The Governors Eye is a bright shiny mix of blue glitters and shimmers in a black jelly base.

Cult Nails All Access Collection!

Hi There!

I am back again today with another wonderful review! This is one I've been waiting for a while for. Today I have for you the fall collection from my favorite brand Cult Nails. I've been seeing sneak peeks of the All Access Collection from Maria on her Instagram for a bit now and I'm so glad to finally have them in my hands!

Lets get right to the photos!

First up is one of Cult Nails signature cremes Wack Slacks.

Wack Slacks is a beautiful dusty blue creme that sometimes looks more cornflower blue and sometimes looks brighter. I love the depth to this color so much!

Today I have some gorgeous glitter bombs for you from The Juice Box. This is another new to me brand and I am so glad I found it! This collection is called Alive. Lets get to the polish shall we?

My First Foray Into Liquid Sky Lacquer

Hi Again!

I have a whole slew of posts coming up for you all but this is one of my favorites in the works. I was offered some review polished from Carolyn of Liquid Sky Lacquer and when I got them I loved them so much that I ordered 3 more. I have all 9 of them here for you tonight! Please be prepared, this is a very image heavy post. There are quite a few thermals which tend to be picture heavy on their own plus a bunch of holos.

Ready to see? Lets get started!

First up is the beautiful Blue Daiquiri

Blue Daiquiri is a beautiful teal to blue thermal polish with a gorgeous gold shimmer. This pretty teal color is the warm stage of the polish and probably how it would be most of the time on the nail.

Stardust Polish HOLOS!

Hi there ladies and gents!

Tonight I have a beautiful few lacquers for you from a new to me brand Stardust Polish. Of course, you all know I love the name ;)

These three lacquers are all holographic to some extent, whether is is very slightly or very strongly, but I'll let the photos do the talking or me eh?

First up is my favorite of the three, Yes Your Majesty.

Yes Your Majesty is a gorgeous cherry red holo jelly that I fell in love with the moment I put it on. It reminds me of candy apples and fast cars.

Incoco Nail Polish Appliques

Hi All!

I have a different kind of post for you today. I was approached by Incoco and asked to review some of their Nail Polish Appliqués I have only tried polish strips once before and it was by another company. That experience was bad enough that I ended up returning the product. So I was super happy to get the chance to try some appliqués from a company who specializes in them.

Incoco sent me two sets of strips to review for you today. The patterns I chose were Rock Out! and Urban Jungle. Here are the supplies I used to apply the appliqués.

Incoco Nail Polish Appliques, a rough file, a fine file and a rubber tipped cuticle pusher.

Born Pretty Store 3D Nail Art Items

Hi there!

Sorry for the delay, it was already crazy around my place between giveaways and Monsters and my Etsy shop and all the wonderful reviews I've been sent.

Then on Thursday night I broke my foot. Long story short, I stepped on my cat's tail and when I tried to get off quickly I landed wrong and my girlfriend heard it snap from the complete opposite end of the apartment. I am healing and am stuck home for a while but at least I can type right? Everything is taking longer because I can't get up and get things I need when I'm alone so reviews and the shop and everything were put on hold.

Anyway.... Today I have a great review for you of some nail art items I received for review from Born Pretty Store. I was contacted by their rep about reviewing some items and since I've used their supplies before and have always loved them in the past I was glad to grab at a chance to review something. The items I chose are 3D Nail Art items which can be added to designs or even a plan manicure to give them some flair. I'll show you the manicure first and then I'll show you what I got from Born Pretty Store.

I started with a base of a Jelly Syrup mani using Messy Jessi Monsoon Season then added different items and designs to each nail to make a skittles mani. Here she is!

I really love how these came out. The 3D skull on my middle finger is the review item from Born Pretty Store. It came with a bunch of other in this great little wheel.

Messy Jessi Speckled Summer Collection

Hi All!

I'm back today with a super cute collection from Messy Jessi Lacquers.

This is a Summer collection that is running a bit late, but honestly, i love bright colors year round. Who doesn't? This collection is a little special in that it is a collection of 10 polishes which Jessica is selling in pairs and by the whole collection only. There are 5 pairs that are matching, one jelly and one matching glittered jelly.

I talked to Jessica before I swatched these about how much I love jellies and how they can be layered. We both decided it would be good for everyone to see the layering possibilities of these lacquers. So these swatches are done as Jelly Syrup manicures. For those of you who don't know a jelly syrup manicure is done by starting each coat of the polish a little further down the nail. This way, the polish closes to the cuticle is sheer at one coat and at the tip it is opaque at between 3-5 coats depending on the jelly.

I used very thin coats of these and so they are one coat at the cuticle and five coats at the tip. I then added one thin coat of the second glittered polish to my ring finger for each manicure. I absolutely loved the formula on every single one of these lacquers and I will most definitely be pulling them out over and over again. Want to see the photos? Here we go...

First up is Jelly Fishing paired with Good Rrreef!

This one is my absolute favorite of this collection! I love pink and this is just sooooo bright and soooo cheery!

Sweet Baby Cuticle Oil - Namaste

Hi There Girls and Guys!

I have a very special review for you today. You all remember Donna @workinggirlnails from my post yesterday? Well recently she contacted me and asked me if I would review her new line of cuticle care products Sweet Baby by Donna. Of course I said yes!! Donna sent me my choice in scents of one Cuticle Oil and one Cuticle Balm, and I've been using them for the last few weeks.

When Donna contacted me I chose Namaste for my Cuticle oil and Get Your Happy On for my Cuticle Balm. Since the cuticle balm will not be sold until the weather cools down, today I'm going to talk about the Oil.

Hello Kitty Sugar Skulls Twin Nails!

Hi There!

I have more art for you today! But first, have you entered my giveaway? If not, click on the banner on the left side there and enter it before the deadline of August 30th! What are you waiting for?

I've also added a link to my own Etsy shop on the right and a link to the Born Pretty Store with a coupon code for 10% off that they gave me when I agreed to review for them! I'll have the review up sometime next week, wait til you see what I got, so super cute! There will be some changes ongoing on the blog over the next couple weeks. I'll be adding tabs at the top and some extras along both sides of the page to make things easier to navigate. I'd really appreciate any feedback you have more me about the new layout as the changes occur, so please leave me a comment or send along an email to me at storm@stormandstars.net if you have any comments or suggestions!

Ok, on to the nail art! This week I did some twin nails with one of my Instagram besties, the wonderful and talented Donna from @workinggirlnails. You can head over to her Instagram page to see her nails later this morning. We took our inspiration from a Hello Kitty t-shirt that I have at home. When I bought it, we knew it would make super cute nails. Here is the image from the shirt:

So cute right? Here are the nails I came up with to match the shirt!

I was going to go simple with these, but I decided to go all out, and Donna loved them so much when she saw them that we ended up doing the exact same nails! Hers are so cute too on her tiny nails.

Twin Monster Nails!

Hi there Gals and Guys!

Guess what I have for you today? More nail art!

A while back one of the wonderful ladies I follow on Instagram asked if anyone wanted to do Twin Nails with her. I love doing things like that so I volunteered. We had a few setbacks, but settled on a topic and today is the day! I'll be posting here and on Instagram, and be sure to check out @perlarobeles nails on Instagram as well!

We decided to do Monsters, Inc. as our theme. I absolutely love both movies, but MU is fresher in my brain so I went with a character from that. I must have gone through about 10 designs in my head before I drew out 3 of them and finally decided on one. My Inspiration is a photo of Art from Monsters University that I found here. Are you ready to see?

Ahhhhhhhhhh! I love love love how they came out!

Love, Angeline - Lovely Assistant and Magic Cape

Hi There all!

I'm back with a second post for today. This one is a couple swatches. If you follow me on Instagram @stormandstars you got a sneak peek of this a few nights ago when I posted it there.

Love, Angeline is a pretty new brand on the scene, but her polish is beautiful! When Natosha, the brand's owner contacted me for a review I was more than happy to come on board!

I have two from her brand new Smoke & Mirrors collection to share with you today.

First up is Lovely Assistant.

Lovely Assistant is a white crelly base with gray, teal and purple satiny hexes in it. It is really soft and feminine without being too pinky and girly.

Watermelons with piCture pOlish Watermelon

Hi there Gals and Guys!

How is the summer treating you? I'm more of a fall and winter girl myself, so I'm really looking forward to October and Halloween and Fall colors. BUT I do have some more summer manis to share with you before all that happens!

I knew I wanted to do today's nail art as soon as I received my Blog Fest package a couple months ago. In fact, I did this manicure before I even did my Blog Fest chevrons, but I didn't want to share the color before my Blog Fest post, so I had to hold onto them until now. I hope they are worth the wait, I really loved doing them! Here are my Watermelon nails done with piCture pOlish Watermelon.

How cute! Watermelon is the absolute perfect shade for these and I can't think of a better use for it.

piCture pOlish Blog Fest 2013 - Celebrating the Year of the Blogger

Hi there Gals and Guys!

I have something super exciting to share with you today! I've been waiting for this for quite some time, but I was sworn to secrecy until now! Today is the piCture pOlish Blog Fest 2013 and I was invited by piCture pOlish to be a part of the fun this year. :) I am so excited to be able to finally share this manicure with you all. I am terrible at keeping secrets, but somehow I managed.

piCture pOlish sent me 3 shades to make into my most "amazing nail art manicure ever." The shades they chose for me are Watermelon, Mad Magenta and Wisteria.

I think someone at piCture pOlish knows me well because these shades are perfect for me! I absolutely love all three of them.

For The Love Of Gradients

Happy Hump Day All!

I am more than glad this week is halfway done!!! Work has been super busy for me and I have so much to edit and post for you all. I'm slowly working my way through them on lunch breaks and after work. I have two posts for you this week and then another two for sure next week, so please be on the lookout. :)

How do we all feel about some nail art? I know, I know, I haven't been posting nail art lately, and for that I am sorry. Swatching took over my life for a while. I promise to try and throw in more nail art here and there. If you are here for the art you will not be disappointed this coming week, I promise. ;)

Today I have something simple for you that I did on a whim a couple weeks ago. (That should tell you how busy I am!)

I started this one with two coats of one of my all time favorite lacquers, Cult Nails Faded, which is a light gray creme. It has a perfect application and it is just too pretty.

To see more photos and hear how I acheived this look, please read on!

Polished By KPT - Round 2!

Hi there!

I have a treat for you! I have four lacquers today from one of my favorite brands Polished By KPT. These aren't part of a specific collection, but it is four of the 6 I have left to post!

As a heads up to those of your who want some Polished By KPT shades, Katherine will be having a full restock, tomorrow, July 20th at 7PM PST!! You'll have to be quick though, because she sells out FAST! You can go to her shop for a list of the lacquers that will be available in this restock.

So first up from KPT today is Dream Lover.

Dream lover is a sheer white jelly base with multi sized and shaped pastel glitters. As it has been swatched many times over white, I decided to do something a little different this time.

Zombie Darling Sneaky Tiki!

Hi Gals and Guys!

I'm so glad it's Friday! I have some exciting stuff planned for the weekend including a wedding for a friend who asked me to do her and her bridesmaids nails for the ceremony and reception. I'm too excited for words and hopefully I'll have a post sometime next week about the experience!

I have another fabulous collection for you today. This one is from a close friend of mine, Cindy from Zombie Darlings. She wanted to make a bright summer holo collection that reminded of a Luau and summer drinks and tropical settings. I think she really succeeded here!

There are 5 holographic shades and one glitter topcoat in the Sneaky Tiki collection. Some of the holos are stronger than others and they are honestly all gorgeous in the sun or inside. The formulas on all of these were about the same, on the sheer side, but nothing some undies can't fix and they went on smoothly with no problems.

Shall we get started? First up is a polish that is very special to me. I had asked for a brown holo and Cindy delivered with this gorgeous deep shade. Here is Mystic Chocolate.

How gorgeous is this??? Its such a perfect chocolate shade! It makes me think of a holographic Hershey's Bar ;) What could be better than Nail Polish, Holo and Chocolate?

Cult Nails - Road Trip, Anyone?

Welcome back!

Today I have a very special collection for you! Its time for another collection from Cult Nails. This one is special because it was delivered in hand to me from Maria and John when my girlfriend and I met up with them for 4th of July fireworks last week. :) It is also special because it includes the first Cult Nails holographic lacquer, Mayhem!

The Road Trip, Anyone? collection consists of three bright summery creme shades and two special effect topcoats to make them even more special! I'll be showing two of the cremes alone and then with Mayhem, a holographic topcoat and I'll be showing the other creme alone and then topped with All Out, a shimmery summer topcoat! I'm so excited to show you these babies!

First up is the dark horse of the bunch for me, Be Loco.

When I first saw this shade it looked too similar to another Cult Nails shade, Scandalous, but once I got it on my nails... WOW! Its so much more vibrant and it is a creme, not a jelly, so the finish isn't even close to the same. I really love how bright and perfect for summer days this polish is!

The first one is my personal favorite out of the bunch and its the only one not from the Ghoul Spirit! Monster High Collection. This is Rainbow Sherbet:

Look how creamy and gorgeous this is!!! And the colors really remind me of a tub of Rainbow Sherbet. Yum yum!

Serum No 5 - Stormy Weather, Sky Lights and Shrinking Violet

Hello Gals and Guys!

That wasn't too long of a wait was it? I have some lovely polish for you today!

I posted 3 of the Serum No 5 lacquers I was sent for review a while back, and I am back today with the other 3.

First up is my personal favorite of the group Stormy Weather. I'll give you three guesses why it is my favorite and the first two don't count ;)

Just look at all that yummy glittering goodness! I am not usually one for bar glitter, but it works so well in this polish and I'm going to go out on a limb here and guess they are supposed to represent the lightening in the Stormy Weather. :)

Something A Little Wicked

Hi All!

I managed to put together a post for you tonight. You'll notice something a little different. I'm trying out a white background for my photos, but I'm not completely sold on it yet. I haven't decided whether to go back to the black or not. Let me know your opinions, please!

So I have the last two Wicked Polish babies for you today. <3

When Rylee sent me these two I literally squeed out loud.

First up is Fairy Blood Splatter from the Wicked Whimsy collection.

Yummy neon pink and purple glitter! I had a bit of trouble capturing the difference between the two colors of glitter in this, but in person they are distinctly pink and purple like you can see in the bottle shot later in this post.

My Impromtu Hiatus

Hi Everyone...

I've been debating whether or not to post this for the past few days and finally decided that if was better to post than not to.

I'm sure some or all of you have noticed that my blogging is, at best, sporadic. I have weeks where I have 3 posts and then I have periods of time when I don't blog for weeks at a time. I'm trying to get better about regular posting, but I'd like to talk a bit about why my posting is so sporadic. If you don't want to know, then just skip this post. If you do, then read on.

Cult Nails - Dance All Night Collection

Hi there Girls and Guys!

I am super excited to show you what I have in store for you all today. As I'm sure you all know, I've been a huge fan of Cult Nails for a long time now. They were the first Indie brand I purchased about a year ago now and have continued to wow me with their colors, stellar formula and exceptional customer service. If I were to suggest a nail lacquer to anyone asking, Cult Nails would be at the top of my list.

So what to do when John and Maria contact me to review their gorgeous upcoming collection? Say yes of course!

The Cult Nails Dance All Night collection consists of 6 high quality lacquers. There are 3 perfect cremes and 3 stunning glitters, that together make one of the most cohesive collections I've seen from any brand, Indie or otherwise. As you probably know about me by now, I gravitate towards cremes while others tend to steer more to the glitters. I'm going to start with the cremes.

Faded is a beautiful light blue leaning gray creme.

*Swoon* This is the polish I didn't know I needed in my collection. Everything about it is perfection. <3

Polished by KPT Thermals - Blue is Beautiful and Camellia

Hey there Gals and Guys!

I have some fantastic thermals for you today!

I started following Polished by KPT a while back on Instagram and recently was lucky enough to have been asked by Katherine to do some reviews for her brand. Of course I said yes!

Lets get right to it shall we? Thermal polish changes colors based on the temperature. These particular thermals show the color under them when in the warm stage and show their true colors when cold. I'm going to show you each of these under different conditions. 1. At Rest - This is what the polish looked like when I didnt do anything to it. 2. Warm - This is the polish when dipped in warm water. 3. Cold - This is the polish when dipped in ice cold water. 4. Transition - This is the polish in transition from warm to cold or cold to warm.

To start off I chose a bright pink jelly thermal Camellia.

At Rest:

Because my nails are so short right now (:( grow nails grow!) i only got a little pink at the tips of the free edge. If they were longer, the whole free edge would likely have been bright pink.

(WARNING! Picture heavy post!)

Serum N°5 - Heartbreaker, April Showers and Forest Lights

Hi Gals and Guys!

I have some great glitters today. I don't have a lot of time (move is still eating my schedule) so I'm going to get right to it!

I first heard of Serum N°5 a while back and I ordered Day Glow for my collection. I love it and Victoria was a pleasure to do business with, so when she contacted me to do a review of some of her lacquers I was happy to say yes!

Victoria sent me these a while back before I even knew I was moving so I have 3 of the 6 here for you today and I'll have the rest next week.

First up is my favorite of these three, Heartbreaker.

Heartbreaker is a shimmering base with white hexes, black bars and pink and red hearts. I layered one thick coat here over two coats of Cult Nails Devious Nature. I had no formula problems, though I did have to fish for the heart glitter a little. I didn't mind much though, since that is pretty normal for larger glitter.

The collection will be available during our Preview Event where the entire collection can be purchased at the discounted pricing of $60 for the set. (Retail $72). Our Preview Event will run from May 9th - 18th 11:59PM EST. All polishes will be available for purchase individually starting on Sunday May 19th for $12 per bottle.

The collection includes the following polishes:

Nakizzle's Shizzle - We made several custom blue polishes for NY Fashion Week's Le Smurfette Show. I brought all the blue's home and when my daughter saw one of the blue lacquers, she grabbed it and explained, "Now that's my Shizzle!" After we had a good laugh and explained what Shizzle stands for, we knew we had to include it as part of the Cult Nails Lacquer line. It is a bright take on a traditional pastel blue. It dries to a high shine creme finish.

Messy Speckled Eggs from Jessi

Hi Gals and Guys!

I have a nice surprise for you if you make it to the end of this post. Think you can handle that? Yes? Well lets get started then!

Today I have a wicked awesome collection for you by brand new brand Messy Jessi Lacquers. I'm sometimes skeptical to try brand new polish brands because I don't know what to expect, but everything about Messy Jessi was so professional and well thought out that I knew the polish would be as well. Jessica was a pleasure to work with and I could not have asked for a better experience as a reviewer.

The Messy Jessi Speckled Egg Collection is a series of 6 shades and one LE glitter topper (which unfortunately was only available during the preorder, but I'll show here anyways.) They all had just about the same formula... AMAZING.

First up for you all I have Easter Bunny

I love all the colors, but this one holds a bit of a special place in my heart. I wore this purple during the "Purple for Boston" as I live in Boston and Jessica is originally from the area I thought it would be a nice tribute. Also, its a stunning color and I loved wearing it. Easter Bunny was on my nails for 4 days and I couldnt even see any tipwear before I took it off. <3

A Study In Final Fantasy Polish

Hi Gals and Guys!

I know, I know, I said this would be up yesterday, but you know... MOVING!! I just can't keep up with everything. I'll be all in on May first and I'm DYING to do some nail art for you all. My polish is looking very sad at the moment!

Any of you who follow me on Instagram should know that I had a nail art contest a bit ago. Well one of the winners @astudyinpolish has her own polish line under the same name. So introducing A Study In Polish Nail Lacquer!

Morgan contacted me shortly after her win to ask if I would be willing to review her Final Fantasy line of lacquers. As a fellow geek I just had to oblige. :)

First up for you I have Wark!

Wark! is a yellow crelly with blue and orange glitters in it. Its super soft and pretty!

A Royal Femme Fatale and the Ever Changing Waters

Hi Gals and Guys!

Sorry I've been MIA, but I have some exciting news! I'm moving!

My girlfriend and I found a beautiful loft that we both absolutely love. It has super amounts of sunlight and huge windows and high ceilings and I can't wait to be all moved in. :)

Unfortunately moving has seriously cut into my polish time!

I'll hopefully have two posts for you today, if not today, then I'll have the 2nd one tomorrow. :)

Today I have two beautiful colors for you from a new to me indie brand Femme Fatale Lacquer. First up is my favorite of the two, Royal Rubies:

I DIE I DIE I DIE!! How freaking beautiful is this??? Wanna see more?

Storm n Stars Is A Polish Addict

I have some super pretty polish for you tonight and one very extra special one!

I was approached a while back by Laura of Polish Addict and she asked me if I would mind if she created and named a polish after my blog. I was so taken aback! Have I gotten that popular?? Wow! Of course I said yes!!

So here is the polish dubbed Storm n Stars by Polish Addict!

There is glitter!! Soooooo much glitter! And blue jelly goodness with stars! (Of course there are stars!)

Its Finally Springtime In Wonderland

Hi there everyone!

I know, it has been a while, and I'm very sorry, once again. I just can't seem to get a scheduling working for me, but I promise I am still trying. Some things are going on with me in my every day life that is making it hard to keep my nail blogger life on track. Fortunately, I'm taking steps to clear up that mess and am working on not taking on as much so I don't get burnt out and miss blog posts for weeks at a time.

Enough of that! Today I have for you a beautiful glitter collection from Nail Sauce by Feliifel called Springtime In Wonderland that she was nice enough to send me for review! Today is a perfect day to post these because it finally seems like spring is coming here in Boston! I can even feel the heat of the sun coming in through the windows as I type this!

Shall we get started? First up is one of my favorites from the collection and the one based on Alice herself. This is FabAlice

Isn't she beautiful? I layered two coats of FabAlice here over one coat of China Glaze Hanging In The Balance and there is no topcoat for these photos. I love the jelly base in this one, and you could probably reach full opacity with FabAlice alone, but you would most likely need about 4 coats. I would much rather preserve the polish and layer it over something similar. :)

Something Wicked Caused All This Pestilence

Hi There!

I'm back with some new disclosure buttons and a disclosure page that you can get to by clicking on any of the disclusure buttons at the top or bottom of the page. Now thats over with...

I have, without a doubt, one of my favorite and most unique polish collections to date for you today. I'm talking of none other than the Wicked Polish Pestilence Collection. Are you excited yet? Cause I am!

When Rylee contacted me about reviewing her lacquers I jumped at the chance. I have been trying to get my hands on some of these for quite some time and was eager to get these all on my nails and play with them!! Because there have been a lot of straight swatches of these colors already I wanted to do something a bit more creative for my post, so you'll see some matte topcoat, some gradients and even a saran wrap manicure. Lets get started, shall we?

First up is my dark horse of the collection, Cardiac Arrest. Let me tell you, I did not want to take this one off!! Lets let the photos speak for themselves...

What do you think? Can you understand why I loved this so much? It dries a little bumpy, but a coat of Gelous and a topper of Seche Vite and it was glass smooth and shiny!

A Little Setback...

Hi there followers.

Browsing some blogs the last few days I noticed there were some changes. Some disclosure changes. Apparently the FTC has decided that bloggers need to do more than they are already doing regarding disclosing where materials have come from.

What does this mean for me?

Well it means that I need to overhaul my site a little bit. I need to make a full disclosure page and some little disclosure buttons that link to that page so I am complying with all the guidelines. Until that is all done I won't be posting here. Hopefully I will be able to have it back up for my big Wicked Polish post tonight, but because of a full work schedule I cannot promise that.

Thank you for sticking with me while my posting is a bit sporadic since I started. There is a lot more time involved in a full blog than I realized and there is most definitely a learning curve. I am positive that I will figure it out though and that someday I'll be able to say that I have regular posts 2-3 times a week.

Again, I hope to still have my Wicked Polish post up tonight, but I am not promising anything quite yet. Thanks for your patience!

xoxo
