Polished By KPT - Round 2!

Hi there!

I have a treat for you! I have four lacquers today from one of my favorite brands Polished By KPT. These aren't part of a specific collection, but it is four of the 6 I have left to post!

As a heads up to those of your who want some Polished By KPT shades, Katherine will be having a full restock, tomorrow, July 20th at 7PM PST!! You'll have to be quick though, because she sells out FAST! You can go to her shop for a list of the lacquers that will be available in this restock.

So first up from KPT today is Dream Lover.

Dream lover is a sheer white jelly base with multi sized and shaped pastel glitters. As it has been swatched many times over white, I decided to do something a little different this time.

I started this manicure with two coats of Cult Nails Princess, a light blue cream with a copper shimmer. I topped Princess with two easy coats of Dream Lover, then coated the whole thing is a layer of Seche Vite Topcoat.

I love the softness of this and I really love it over the blue!!

Next from KPT is one of the things she is famous for, thermals! This is Hot Like Wasabi!

Hot Like Wasabi is a light green to yellow thermal that fades to a khaki color when warm. It is jelly in consistency and can be worn alone or layered over another color. This version of Hot Like Wasabi also has a slight holo shimmer added.

I chose to layer Hot Like Wasabi over two coats of OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls. I used Two coats and then topped with Seche Vite Topcoat. If I had used a more green base color, Hot Like Wasabi would look closer to an actual wasabi green.

While this is not a color I would have picked for myself, it is really striking, and I can see a lot of people really loving it!

Spectraflair topcoat is something that is rather coveted in the Nail Polish community. Well here I have for you the KPT Spectraflair 35 topcoat that came make any color holographic!

Unfortunately I wasn't in the sun, so the holo is not as strong as it might have been, but it rained here for about 3 weeks, I swear, I just couldn't get sun photos of these colors.

I love that I can put this over anything and it will look fabulous. I used one coat of the Spectraflair 35 topcoat over two coats of Cult Nails Ay, Poppy! (which is, if I may say, absolutely stunning.) I topped the whole thing with Seche Vite topcoat. I had no problems with the topcoat dulling the holo effect at all.

I can't wait to put this one over everything I own. ;)

Last is my favorite from this bunch of lacquers. Here is Fluorescein in all her glory!

This stunning neon green jelly is super sheer, but super pretty and has a holo shimmer all of its own. <3 <3 <3

I really don't think I could love this any more than I do. I wanted to see how many coats to full opacity on its own, and I think I wound up with 5 thin coats of Fluorescein before I had no visible nail line. Next time I wear this, I will definitely be using undies!

I really love the vibrancy of this color in the jelly consistency. <3 From what I hear, this one also glows in blacklight ;)

What do you think? are you crazy over KPT?

Don't forget, there is a restock tomorrow, July 20th at 7PM PST! All of these colors except Fluorescein will be included in the restock!!

You can purchase Polished By KPT at her shop. You can also follow news and updates on collections and restocks at her Instagram @polishedbykpt or on Facebook.
