Sweet Baby Cuticle Oil - Namaste

Hi There Girls and Guys!

I have a very special review for you today. You all remember Donna @workinggirlnails from my post yesterday? Well recently she contacted me and asked me if I would review her new line of cuticle care products Sweet Baby by Donna. Of course I said yes!! Donna sent me my choice in scents of one Cuticle Oil and one Cuticle Balm, and I've been using them for the last few weeks.

When Donna contacted me I chose Namaste for my Cuticle oil and Get Your Happy On for my Cuticle Balm. Since the cuticle balm will not be sold until the weather cools down, today I'm going to talk about the Oil.

Namaste is Sweet Baby by Donna's unscented Cuticle Oil. While it is technically unscented in that it does not have any added essential oils or other frangrances, I found that this oil has a slight earthy scent due to the ingredients listed below. Here is a little bit from the Sweet Baby shop about their Cuticle Oils:

All natural aromatherapy cuticle oil. SweetBaby Cuticle Oil is formulated specifically to
nourish and hydrate your cuticles and nails. My products are vegan and animal friendly, as
well as paraben, soy, and nut free.

No preservatives are used in my products, however Vitamin E and Tea Tree are natural
antibiotics and will give a shelf life of 3-5 months.

Ingredients: Jojoba oil, Avocado oil, Olive oil, Vitamin E, Tea Tree oil, Essential oils for

I found this cuticle oil to be a great addition to my nail care regimine. I try to use it 1-3 times a day as my cuticles tend to be dry and I really like how it makes them look and feel. I can already tell that they are looking better just over the last couple weeks. I have less tears and dry skin, some of the cracked skin I did have is healing and my cuticles have never looked better.

Look at how lovely my cuticles look!! <3 <3 <3

I'm even wearing naked nails today to show off how great they look. :)

The oil comes in a .33 oz. roller ball glass bottle with a plastic screw top. The roller ball makes it really easy to apply and it keeps the oil contained to the areas where you want it to go instead of all over like brushes seem to do. I found that this cuticle oil soaks in very quickly with minimal massaging on my part. I would absolutely recommend this product, in fact, I plan on getting more in additional scents for myself.

Here are the currently available scents for the Sweet Baby by Donna Cuticle Oils:

Namaste - pure and simple, unscented in theory but it does smell like the ingredients

Tip of Tranquility - Very relaxing with lavender, orange, and a touch of mint.

Get Your Happy On - Fruity and summery with citrus notes of grapefruit, orange, and lemon.

Sacred Lotus - Refreshing and uplifting with pear, ginseng, eucalyptus, and lemon. The smell
can be strong from the bottle, but is pure heaven when worn! Note: Sacred Lotus is not all
natural, it includes a fragrance which is both natural and synthetic.

Sweet Baby by Donna Cuticle Oils retail for $8.00 for .33 oz roller bottle and can be purchased on the Sweet Baby by Donna Etsy Page. What are you waiting for?!

Keep an eye out for my Cuticle Balm review when the weather cools down!

  1. Vitamin e is an antioxidant, and tea tree oil is an antiseptic, not an antibiotic. One has to be careful, since that could be considered to be a medical claim.

  2. What base coat do you use? Your nails are so lovely and white!

    1. Thank you! I use two coats of OPI Nail Envy under every manicure. :)

    2. Thanks. I must try Nail Envy. I've not yet found a base coat that really keeps the polish from staining - despite them all saying they do!
