Messy Speckled Eggs from Jessi

Hi Gals and Guys!

I have a nice surprise for you if you make it to the end of this post. Think you can handle that? Yes? Well lets get started then!

Today I have a wicked awesome collection for you by brand new brand Messy Jessi Lacquers. I'm sometimes skeptical to try brand new polish brands because I don't know what to expect, but everything about Messy Jessi was so professional and well thought out that I knew the polish would be as well. Jessica was a pleasure to work with and I could not have asked for a better experience as a reviewer.

The Messy Jessi Speckled Egg Collection is a series of 6 shades and one LE glitter topper (which unfortunately was only available during the preorder, but I'll show here anyways.) They all had just about the same formula... AMAZING.

First up for you all I have Easter Bunny

I love all the colors, but this one holds a bit of a special place in my heart. I wore this purple during the "Purple for Boston" as I live in Boston and Jessica is originally from the area I thought it would be a nice tribute. Also, its a stunning color and I loved wearing it. Easter Bunny was on my nails for 4 days and I couldnt even see any tipwear before I took it off. <3

I used 2 coats of Easter Bunny on its own for these swatches. I swatched this one separately from the others so please excuse the fact that my nails are longer for this one color. Haha.

Next up is another of my favorites from this collection (who am I kidding, I love them all.) This is Finch. A green creme with all that same speckled black glitter, Finch reminds me of Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream. <3

I used 3 coats of Finch for the above photos and one coat of Seche Vite Topcoat. The formula was flawless for all the shades in this post.

House Wren is a pink creme with those familiar black speckled glitters (do I sense a theme?)

I've always loved pink and black as a combo so I'm sure it is no surprise to you that I was most excited about House Wren. It certainly does not disappoint. 3 coats with topcoat were used for the above photos.

The next lacquer is Mockingbird and I think a lot of you are going to really love this beautiful blue shade. I can't wait to get it on my nails again and wear it out and about.

Three perfect coats plus topcoat were used for the Mockingbird photos and the color is just perfection. <3

The next shade I have for you is Quail, which I did not expect to love but it just looks so much like Mocha Chip Ice Cream (do I see an ice cream photo shoot in the future? Hmm.)

For some reason some people are seeing the glitters in this as green, so I want to assure you that the glitters in this and all the other shades in this collection are the same mix of black glitters.

I only used 2 coats plus topcoat for Quail but I can see that maybe I should have some a third. I'll leave that up to you all. ;)

My favorite favorite favorite of the collection is the one I was looking the most forward to as well. Snowy Plover is a light beautiful gray jelly-like shade packed with those black glitters. Be-still my beating heart. I love this one so much. <3<3<3

I can't remember if this is 2-3 coats, I got distracted by how pretty Snowy Plover is. I can definitely see myself reaching for this stunning color over and over!

Last for this post I have the LE topcoat Speckled! This lacquer was available only as a special bonus for those of you who purchased the entire collection during the preorder. It is the same black glitter mix but in a clear base so you can layer it over anything.

I layered Speckled over Polish Me To Go's Honey My Dew and I absolutely loved the combo. I dodn't want to take it off. Once again, the formula was stellar and I had absolutely no application problems.

All in all I HIGHLY recommend this collection. Jessica is a pleasure to work with and is super accomodating and easygoing and the polish is top notch especially for a brand new company.

You can purchase Messy Jessi Lacquers at her shop on Store Envy for $9.00 per individual bottle and $ for the entire collection. If you spend $45 or more you will automatically receive FREE SHIPPING!!

I did say I had a surprise for you didnt I? Jessica was kind enough to provide me with my own coupon code for my readers to use on her site. So, at any time until May 31st use the code STORM15 for 15% your entire Messy Jessi order!

I hope you all enjoyed this collection as much as I did!

XOXO

Storm
