Nail Art | Born Pretty Store Heart Decals

Purchased By MeProvided for Review

I am back with some more nail art! (and really, nail art this time, not just different colored fingers)

I was sent this uber cute package of water decals from Born Pretty Store a while back and I knew I wanted to do something overly cute with them. I thought about it a while and decided to use the designs on the hearts as inspiration for the nails they would go on. So gradients, polkadots and stripes won out!

I love love love how these came out!! The only nail I wasn't 100% happy with is the index, and that is just because my white ended up kinda grey.

I started out with a base of OPI Alpine Snow on all of my nails except my thumb, that I started out with a clean coating of Cult Nails Nevermore (I just bought five in the final sale, I'll be heartbroken when they're all gone.) I used a makeup sponge to add in gradients on my middle, ring and pinkie using Alpine Snow and Cult Nails Falling Hard and on my index using Alpine Snow and Nevermore.

After they dried a bit I added some dots inspired by the ones I did over here a while back using Falling Hard on my thumb and Nevermore again on my middle finger.

When everything was mostly dry I dipped the water decals I had decided on in a bowl of warm water, then slid them off the paper and placed them on the nails.

I had a lot of fun doing this. It was great to try and match the nail art to the decals and the end result was super girly and cute!

Have you ever used water decals? What did you think of them?

You can purchase these Born Pretty Store Nail Decals over here. They retail for $1.99 but are on sale for $1 right now! Use my code AGBQ10 for 10% off your entire order. As always, Born Pretty Store provides free worldwide shipping on all orders!

I hope everyone has a great evening!
