Jaded Nail Co. | It Came From Outer Space

Hello again hello again!

Whats this? A semi-regular posting schedule? I may be getting the hang of this after all!

I have a some lacquers today for you from one of my favorite brands when it comes to unique colors and combos. These three lacquers are from the Jaded Nail Co. It Came From Outer Space collection. Two of them are glow in the dark thermals and the third is a jelly loaded with glitter.

I'm going to start with the two glow thermals. First up is the polish I was most looking forward to in this collection, Little Green Men.

Little Green Men is a whitish to minty green thermal lacquer loaded with glitters ranging from white and teal circles to stars and even black skull and crossbones. It is a sheer whitish color when warm and a bright minty green when cold. In the dark it glows a bright green.

I used three coats of Little Green Men alone on my nails and then added Seche Vite topcoat to smooth out all the glitter. The formula was a bit thick so I added some thinner to my liking and it was fine after that.

I really love the shift in color of this one and the glow is an added bonus. Oh you want to see it glow? Sure thing!

As you can see, the glow on this is very strong and it lasted quite some time after charging for about 30 seconds.

Overall I am really happy with this shade. The color, thermal and glow all trump the thickness for me!

Next up is the second of the glow thermals. Meet Jupiter In Love.

Jupiter in love is a bright magenta to soft pink thermal polish that also glows. It is stuffed with different shades of pink glitter including heart shapes. When warm this lacquer is a light pink color and when cold it turns a bright magenta-pink. It also glows a bright yellow-white.

I used three coats of Jupiter in Love for this manucure over my favorite basecoat. After it dried a little I added a thick coat of Seche Vite topcoat. I found this lacquer to be on the thick side as well and when finished it was a little uneven for my taste, a thick coat of topcoat helped that a lot though.

Unfortunately I forgot that this lacquer glows while I had it on. If you would like to see it glow you can head over to the Jaded Nail Co Listing.

While I like the color of the thermal in this I think the added glitter may just be a little too much for my tastes. If you like pink glitter bombs though, it may be for you!

Last up and my absolute favorite out of these three is Space Kitty.

Have I mentioned I love purple? Space Kitty is a bright purple jelly lacquer absolutely packed with all shapes and sizes of black and white glitters as well as some hot pink ones for good measure. I absolutely LOVE everything about this lacquer.

I used 3 coats of Space Kitty for these images. I thought the formula was great and I didn't have to dig for any of the glitter. I had to do a little placement to spread out the larger glitters, but that is expected. I topped the whole thing with a coat of SV to make it shiiiiine!

I am absolutely thrilled with this polish and definitely need to think of some nail art to do with it. Maybe some spikes? Hmmmmm.

So what do you think of these lacquers? If you don't have any glow thermals I definitely recommend Little Green Men and the other thermals available from Jaded Nail Co. If you like purple, well then, Space Kitty, enough said.

You can purchase these and the other Jaded Nail Co. lacquers in their shop. Don't forget to follow Jaded Nail Co. on social media to keep up to date on new collections, restocks, sales and more.

I hope you liked this post and my swatches!

xoxo
