Hi there lovelies! How are you all today? It is super hot and humid here today so I am staying in the air conditioned office as much as I can. I have some really simple nail art for you in this post and a new to me polish that I got from a friend's destash sale.

I started with a base of Emily de Molly Dark Crystal.

 

Dark Crystal is a deep black jelly stuffed chock full of holographic micro shimmer. It does on super smooth and squishy! 

 

 This is completely opaque in two coats and the application was flawless. I love how it is opaque but still has that squishy look of a jelly when finished. 

 

I added some stars using a small dotting tool and Black Luna Lacquer Cat Eyes then made a few of them into four point stars using a tiny nail art brush.

 

I topped the entire thing with topcoat and then oggled over the beauty of the sparkly holo dust from within the black jelly base. I wish the dust didn't just capture on camera as silver.

 

I loved this look and wore it for three days without more than a little tipwear. I love doing full on galaxy nails, but these were a super simple alternative that I did in only a few extra minutes.
