I know it has been a while! My day job is moving and we've been crazy busy packing everything up and going through old folders and drawers and what not, so my free time has been greatly diminished.
Today though, I have for you, another collection from my besties over at Nvr Enuff Polish! This three lacquer collection is inspired by Nick at Nite and is called the Nick of Time collection. Shall we get started?
First up is my favorite of the three, Are You Afraid of the Dark?
Are You Afraid of the Dark? is a bright candy apple red jelly base overflowing with red and gold metallic glitters and a holo shimmer.
This lacquer is so super squishy and even as a jelly only took two coats to be opaque enough to wear. The base is on the thick side, but application wasn't a problem. I used one coat of topcoat to finish off the look.
I love how this looks. I don't have a ton of red in my collection, but with what I do have this definitely stands out as a favorite.
Next up is a perfectly beautiful nude shimmer called Rocco's Modern Life.
Rocco was one of my favorite Nick shows and if you loved it too, you know how well Alix and Lynnae did matching the color to him! This nude creme also has a purple blue shift that shows up in the light and really brings another dimension to the polish.
I used three coats of Rocco's Modern Life for these photos with no topcoat. I did have to use a bit of an easy hand to get an even finish but once it was dry everything was nice and smooth.
Im a sucker for nude polish and this one does not disappoint. I love it and will be wearing it alls the time!
Finally we have another holo stunner for you. This is The Adventures of Pete & Pete.
The Adventures of Pete & Pete is a stunning black jelly with large hex glitters, small red circles and tons of holo dust. At the right angles it has a linear holo effect.
I used two super easy coats of The Adventures of Pete & Pete for this swatch and I topped it off with a super shiny topcoat.
This baby looked like a galaxy on my nails. I can't wait to use it for some galaxy or space nail art!
