31 Day Challenge | Yellow

Day 3 of the 31 Day Challenge is Yellow! If you don't know what the 31 Day Nail Art Challenge is you can head over to the FAQ over at Chalkboard Nails. She does a great job explaining everything.

Also, make sure you're following along with the hashtag #31DC2015 on social media (especially Instagram) to see what everyone else is doing for the prompts.

Now, how about something softer for the yellow prompt? I had planned on a neon manicure for this prompt, but then I was looking through my plates and fell in love with this simple image with the triangles and I knew I needed something softer.

I started with Cult Nails New Day on my thumb, index and middle and Cult Nails Faded on my ring finger. I added two coats of Zoya London to my pinkie.

After everything dried, I used an image from Uber Chic Beauty plate 2-02 to stamp on the yellow with Lacquer Lust Tanzanite. Then, I used another image from the same plate to stamp the yellow on my ring finger with Lime Crime Crema de Limon. I had tried to stamp with New Day, but it just wasn't showing up on the grey.

To finish off the look I added two small dots of Zoya Solange on my pinkie. I added topcoat to all but that nail and then once they were dry I added a coat of matte topcoat.

These nails look warm and comforting to me. I can see the yellow nails as a flannel sheet or something. Definitely a softer look than my last two.

How are you doing with your 31 day challenge?? Let me know in the comments!

**Cult Nails Polish was provided for my previous review. All other shades and tools were purchased by me or given to me as gifts. Please see my disclosure page for more info.**
